January 2026 sees me hit state pension age and another step towards retirement! I’m not doing any (commercial and studio) photography any longer and now working from home having let the studio office go in Sept 2025.
It’s been a real blast having a studio and meeting so many friends during the years at Wath and Manvers in Rotherham.
My concentration now is doing a bit less (a lot less!) and concentrating on where my interests are now which is in Creative Graphics and AI. I still have my drones so can continue with the SkyTography side of things (that website needs a serious makeover) and a few other bits to keep busy but will also concentrate on a bit of leisure enjoyment! .
I’m leaving this presence on my website and Facebook pages but will soon be deleting the various Instagram accounts etc.
And I may look at some creative editing of old photoshoots, as with the addition of AI techniques now, I can make some interesting new looks – example below is my wedding photo restaged at Whitley Bay’s Spanish City.
